Mesa State Breaks Ground On Classroom Building


Mesa State College broke ground for a new classroom building Tuesday morning.

The new 56,000 square foot facility will stand three stories high and include state-of-the-art lecture auditoriums, extended learning environments and even an outdoor deck. The building will also be energy efficient complete with geothermal technology.

It will be a general classroom building and will house the teacher education program and the business department.

Construction on the $14 million building should be done by July of next year.
