Are the wheels of justice running smoothly in Mesa County, or do they need a little tune up? That's the aim of a new survey program at the Mesa County Justice Center.
Starting Tuesday, and running through Thursday, the ones you normally see in a judge's robe and behind the bench will be talking to those who enter the Justice Center. Judges will be encouraging residents to fill out an anonymous survey that includes questions on everything from building location to the handling of cases. Officials say the survey applies to anyone who conducts business within the Justice Center walls.
Similar surveys are also being conducted in several other court systems in the country including Arizona and the District of Columbia.
