A 16–year–old has been arrested for a slew of burglaries including stealing thousands of dollars worth of electronic devices from a Sonic restaurant still under construction.
Acting on a tip, the Mesa County Sheriff's Office arrested Eduardo Christy in connection with five crimes. Authorities say they recovered property stolen in a burglary of a commercial construction site, a theft from a residence, two thefts from automobiles and the stolen electronic devices from Sonic.
All crimes took place over the last two months in the Fruitvale area.
Christy is facing five felony charges and seven misdemeanor. He's being held at the department of youth correction on a $5,000 bond.
Additional charges may be filed.
