GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - 11 News would like to thank everyone who made the 11 Cares Blood Drive a success on Wednesday.

More than two dozen people stopped by our station to donate blood through the St. Mary's Blood Mobile.

January is National Blood Donation Awareness Month. Health officials with St. Mary's Blood Mobile say donations of blood are always needed and one pint can save up to three lives.
