A Western Slope Marine injured in Iraq made the last leg of a long trip home Wednesday.
Friends, family and a full fledged color guard lined the terminal at Grand Junction Regional Airport to welcome home U.S. Marine Bryan Chambers.
The Marine was injured four months ago in west Al Anbar Province in Iraq after the vehicle he was driving was blown up by an IED and his family says the Marine's return is a collaborative effort of prayer.
What does Chambers plan to do now? His mother says the first stop is McDonald's for a spicy chicken sandwich.
