After four days of biking in the Ride The Rockies Tour, the heat is turned up as cyclists spin past a raging fire.
2300 bikers have been cycling all over the Rockies this week.
Today they rode right past the blaze that is New Castle, and many stopped to take pictures of the smoke plumes.
These bikers are carefree because they have one of Grand Junction's finest trooper's looking out for them.
The bike ride started in Frisco and will end back in Frisco.
Cyclists travel an average of sixty miles a day and will continue to ride until this Sunday.
