A former Mesa County school teacher is arrested yet again, this time for allegedly lying to a judge and violating her bail–bond conditions.
According to Mesa County Sheriff's Office records, Tammie Lee Reed was taken into custody Friday on charges of bail violations and attempt to influence a public servant. Both are felonies.
In early June Reed was sentenced to four years probation, 21 months work release, 100 hours of community service and mandatory drug treatment after pleading guilty to drug and check fraud charges.
The Daily Sentinel reported Reed told a judge during her sentencing hearing she needed to leave the state before starting work release to attend her daughter's wedding.
However, investigators found out Reed is not to have contact with her 17-year-old daughter and there's no wedding planned.
The new charges mean Reed will either be re–sentenced or the plea agreement she entered into will be void.
