Olathe man sentenced for crash that killed son
An Olathe man has been sentenced to a decade behind bars for causing a crash that killed his son.

MONTROSE, Colo. (KKCO) - An Olathe man has been sentenced to a decade behind bars for causing a crash that killed his son.
Juan Jose Prieto–Gonzalez, who has a history of alcohol related arrests, was sentenced Wednesday morning in a Montrose court according to a clerk.
In December he pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide and vehicular assault.
Prieto–Gonzales was driving drunk when he ran a stop sign at the intersection of 5400 Road and Highway 348 and was broadsided by a suburban.
Prieto–Gonzales's 8–year–old son was killed in the crash and three people, including two children in the suburban were seriously injured.
At the time of the crash, Preito-Gonzalez had a BAC of more than three times the legal limit.
