GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Another successful Taste of the Grand Valley is in the books.

At Two Rivers Convention Center more than 50 booths and servers offered plenty of delicious treats Monday night.

Prizes were raffled off throughout the night and trophies were awarded to the exhibitors.

Organizers say there’s nothing like food to bring the community closer together.

Jamie Hamilton with Home Loan, the event’s major sponsor, says, "It's been so cold out, it's a nice place to come and get to see some of your neighbors that you haven't seen all winter and a great place to interact. And again the United Way, the cause is just so good and we'd just like to be able to help."

All the proceeds from the event benefit United Way of Mesa County which will fund the many non-profits who support the community throughout the year.

People who came to the event got to vote on their favorites in four different categories.

The 2010 winners are: Cowboy and the Rose for best taste.

Best theme went to Two Rivers Convention Center.

Smugglers Brew Pub takes home the prize for best beverage.

Overall best in show also went to Cowboy and the Rose.
