Weld County authorities say a teenager who survived a stunt that killed a friend on Friday could face charges in the death.

The body of 18-year-old David Griego Junior was located about 9:30 Sunday morning, several hours after he and 19-year-old Darren Bucklen tried to launch a car off of ramp.

Crews recovered Greigo's body Saturday. He died after he and a friend drove a car over a homemade dirt ramp into a water-filled gravel pit.

Dale Lyman of the Union Colony First Rescue Authority says the boys were riding in a car that had the roof cut off. They drove over a ramp
they built at the edge of the water and flew 40 feet from the shore.

Lyman says the teens were traveling about 35 miles per hour when
they reached the ramp. The car quickly sank in about 25 feet of water, and the victim had trouble swimming to safety.
