GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The Department of Revenue has shut down a Grand Junction nighttime hot spot.
A sign on the door of Axis Nightclub says it was seized by the State of Colorado for not paying about $8,300 in taxes.
A Notice of Public Sale says the club will be up for auction this Friday.
Owner of the Nightclub, Neal DeHaven, said in a written statement, "I anticipate taxes will be made current as of Tuesday, February 16th and Axis will be opened again this week."
