GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Vandals hit a Fruitvale home overnight and caused serious damage.

According to investigators, a car at the corner of Bonita Avenue and Pioneer Road was set on fire and completely engulfed in flames when Grand Junction Firefighters arrived on the scene.

Authorities say the house and car were also peppered with shots from a paintball gun, and the house and trees were covered in toilet paper.

The Grand Junction Fire Department is investigating.

This is completely negligent. I have been paintballing for years, and I hate hearing stories about this kind of thing. This is exactly why there is a stigma about paintball. If you are one of those people who give paintball a bad rap check this out for some really good knowledge. http://www.airsplat.com/scenariopaintball.htm
