FRUITA, Colo. (KKCO) - A four-month-old girl is in the custody of the Mesa County Department of Human Services after State Troopers arrested the driver of a car she was in for carrying more than three pounds of meth.
The Colorado State Patrol says around 1:30 p.m. Monday a trooper stopped a car near mile marker 5 for a traffic violation. The trooper asked to search the vehicle and the driver agreed.
A K-9 unit was used to search the car and inside found 3.3 pounds of methamphetamine or crystal ice.
The driver, Grecia Rodriguez-Ulloa of Belleview, Neb. was arrested. The 31-year-old was booked into the Mesa County Jail.
A four-month-old girl was riding in the car. She was released to the Mesa County Department of Human Services.
