Heath Department offering free HPV Vaccines
Almost 6 million people a year are infected with HPV and the Mesa County Health Department is trying to lessen the number here locally.

MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KKCO) - Almost 6 million people a year are infected with HPV and the Mesa County Health Department is trying to lessen the number here locally.
The Human Papilloma Virus vaccine normally costs $465 for a woman in her early 20's, but the Health Department is giving these shots out to women ages 19 to 26 for free.
To schedule an appointment to get the vaccine call the Health Department at 248– 6900.
For teenagers 18 years old and younger, the price of the vaccine is just below $45 for all three doses.
