A dispute between homeowners results in a visit from the Grand Junction bomb squad.
After receiving a phone call that a pipe bomb may have been found at a residence on South 8 and 4/10 Road in Glade Park. Mesa County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the area and were quickly followed by the Bomb Squad.
The device found is said to be a sealed pipe with tape and wires on it. The pipe was found to be nonexplosive and was destroyed by authorities.
The residents of the home had recently moved in and the former resident had allegedly made comments that there were land mines, pipe bombs and dry ice bombs on the property. The current homeowners are reportedly having civil problems with the former homeowner of the property.
