GRAND JUNCTION, Colo (KKCO) - Colorado State Patrol says two accidents and the rockslide that caused them have been cleared from I-70 in De Beque Canyon.
The rockslide at mile marker 56 in the eastbound lanes of I-70 caused two accidents that closed the Interstate around 4:45 a.m. Tuesday.
Traffic flowing westbound was not impacted even though some debris spilled into the westbound lanes.
Mesa County Sheriff's Department officials say at 6:50 a.m. traffic was backed up eastbound for at least two miles.
No injuries were reported.
