It's almost as old as Grand Junction itself. The Mesa County Fair is back and it's better than ever.
The Mesa County Fair kicks off bright and early Tuesday morning at the Fairgrounds in Orchard Mesa. The County Fair dates all the way back to 1887 and this year features something for everyone. Everyday there are contests, carnival rides, music, food and so much more. There is even one extra day of events this year to fit in all the fun.
Events begin on Tuesday and continue until Sunday with almost twelve hours of entertainment each day. Admission is three dollars for adults and one dollar for children under twelve years old. You can also purchase a wristband for fifteen dollars that will be good all week.
