One truck driver is facing charges today and two motorcyclists are recovering at St. Mary's Hospital.
Jack McPeak and his wife Debra are both suffering from serious injuries after their motorcycle crashed into a pickup truck. The motorcycle was traveling west on Highway 92 yesterday afternoon, when the pickup hauling a trailer in front of them made a sudden turn and failed to signal which caused them to collide.
The driver of the truck, Kenneth Kelly, of Hotchkiss is being charged with Driving a Defective Vehicle. Jack McPeak has serious face lacerations and a broken leg and his wife is suffering from a collapsed lung, both of them have broken ribs.
