Coroner identifies victim in fatal weekend shooting
A 27-year-old man has been identified as the victim in Sunday's fatal shooting in Grand Junction.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - A 27-year-old man has been identified as the victim in Sunday's fatal shooting in Grand Junction.
The Mesa County Coroner’s Office says the victim is Andrew Todd Boxa of Grand Junction. According to a release from that office Boxa died at the hospital after attempting to defuse a domestic dispute between his neighbors when he was shot.
The Coroner says Boxa suffered two gunshot wounds and ruled his death a homicide.
The suspect in the case, 31-year-old Robert McCleland remains behind bars on charges of first degree murder. He is being held on a $1 million bond.
