GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Roice-Hurst Humane Society is in the running to win $1,000 or more and needs your help down the homestretch.
The shelter has five more weeks to push to the top in the Animal Rescue Site’s $100,000 challenge.
Right now Roice-Hurst is just slightly behind a shelter in Denver for first place in the state, which would be a $1,000 prize.
For that to happen the community needs to help out. Supporters can cast one vote every day until April 18.
