Fire destroys Pear Park property overnight
A "suspicious" fire destroyed a Pear Park home and shed Thursday night.

MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KKCO) - A family of five has been left without a home after a fire broke out on their property late Thursday night.
According to the Clifton Fire Department, the fire started in the shed at the property on Lark Drive in Pear Park.
Investigators said there was someone living in the shed at the time. They said the fire quickly spread to the nearby home.
Officials call the fire "suspicious."
They also say there were several pets inside the home at the time and are unsure how many made it out safely. No one else was injured.
Investigators said the house and shed were a complete loss.
