Sheriff's Office dispels Internet rumors that Paige Birgfeld's body has been found

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office says Internet rumors claiming the body of missing Grand Junction mother Paige Birgfeld has been found are false.

Birgfeld disappeared in the summer of 2007.

Recent Internet posts claim her body has been found, but the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office says the allegations are “false” and “not true.”

The case is an active and on-going investigation.

Lester Ralph Jones remains the primary suspect.

    What's the latest, in the disappearance of Paige Birgfeld? Has there been nothing new in almost a year? I just saw the re-run of "Disappeared" (I've also seen the 48hrs. episode) episode devoted to Paige Birgfeld and was hopeful that there's been a new development? What a beautiful vibrant woman and seemingly loving mother, I pray that they figure this thing out and give her family at least a little piece of mind.

    I have never met Ms. Birgfeld. This may sound strange to you and you can take it however you like. I saw her in a dream she I was standing next to her as we watched me sleep, she said I need your help she grabbed my hand and I saw her with three children. She said they need to know I did not leave them. I would not leave them. Tell them please. I saw tears running down her eyes I turned to look at the nightstand to see the time when I turned around she was gone. In the morning I thought it was a dream. Out of the blue Paige Birgfield that kept coming into my mind so I googled it. That is why I have sent you this message. One other thing I do not if it matters it is storage a man with a beard that in his mind thought he was the only man in her life.

      therese are not rumors it's the truth. i just saw the 48 hour epidsode. im interested and i will not give up until someone finds her. dead or alive? i hope alive. im about to cry i feel like she looks familuar or something but im not sure.?.
