Police are looking for a hit and run suspect that ran over a pedestrian Tuesday night.
Police say at around 10:30 p.m. a 40–year–old man was walking along D and Alamo Roads when a red Pontiac Grand AM driving westbound hit him.
The man was able to make it to a nearby home where he called police. He was taken to the hospital with what don't appear to be life threatening injuries.
Police are looking for the driver of the Pontiac and say the car probably has damage on the passenger side rear view mirror. The suspect in this case could face charges of vehicular assault and leaving the scene of an accident. There could be additional charges if drugs or alcohol were involved.
