A Grand Junction man is sentenced to more than 120 years behind bars for sexually assaulting children at his wife's day care center.
Edward Morfin was sentenced Monday morning to 128 years to life in prison. Back in June the 59-year-old was convicted of 33 felony counts in connection with the molestation of five children. During his trial seven victims testified and authorities were able to identify a total of 12 victims. The District Attorney's Office says Morfin's case is unique case because so many victims came forward and were willing to testify.
Prosecutors say the abuse dated back to 1960. Charges against Morfin were originally filed in 2005.
