CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Here in the Grand Valley there are a few CSA's, one located at Cameron Place.
The Cameron Place picks all the produce fresh for their customers.
Because everything is locally grown, they are able to provide more varieties than the grocery stores can. This is due to not having to ship any of the produce. Alot of produce is fragile and won't hold up when shipped, but since they grow everything right around the corner, these fragile fruits and vegetables are available to the customers.
The season for CSA last from June to about September or October.
