Texting While Driving May Spell Danger

An 18 year old girl in Arizona sends out a text message, moments later she crashes head on with another vehicle. Both of the drivers were kills, officials say text messaging is to blame.

Several states have passed legislation banning all cell phone use.
Here in Colorado there has yet to be a law passed, but State Representative Bernie Buescher says law makers have discussed finding a balance law. Two discussed options are either making driving while using a cell phone a secondary offense. The other is to ban use while driving in high traffic areas.

Representative Buescher says these topics will be approached again when session begins in January.
