This afternoon, residents of the grand valley were treated to a wild sight.
A volunteer group called Friends of the Mustangs held an open house featuring some real mustangs who used to roam wild on the book cliffs.
The mustangs showed off to the crowds kicking balls and standing on platforms.
Friends of the Mustangs hopes that events like this will help show the public that these wild animals can be made into tame pets.
The wild horse roundup near De Beque will take place September 15th with the Friends Of The Mustangs holding an adoption auction on September 22nd.
