A woman suffers life threatening injuries when she falls out of a moving pickup truck in downtown Palisade Sunday night.
The incident happened in the eight o'clock hour near the intersection of Iowa and West 1st Street. According to Palisade Fire Chief Richard Rupp, the woman was transported to St. Mary's Hospital after falling out of the truck. Few details were available late Sunday. Both the Colorado State Patrol and Palisade Police responded to the scene to investigate the incident.
The man who was allegedly driving the truck was contacted by authorities and was taken into custody. He's facing possible drunk driving charges.
