The Kroger grocery chain which includes City Market stores in Colorado has issued a voluntary recall for its store brand "southern style" and "mustard" potato salads amid concerns some batches are tainted with the E–coli bacteria. According to the store's website, consumers should not eat these styles of potato salad that say 'best if used by September 5th.'
No one has reported an illness so far, but Kroger has pulled the potato salads from the shelves and will give customers a refund to anyone returning them to stores.
