The two young men who were killed in a Labor Day accident near Collbrtan have now been identified.
Colorado State Patrol says that 21 year old Garrett Swofford of Grand Junction and 21 year old Marvee Johnson of Aurora were killed.
They suspect the crash happened around 1 a.m. on Monday. A passerby reported the crash early Monday morning. When crews arrived they discovered that a car had rolled off Highway 330 near Collbran and gone down a steep embankment. After rolling about two thirds of the way down the 85 foot hill, it is believed the two men were ejected and killed.
Because the car was not visible from the highway, it is not known exactly when the accident happened or who was driving.
