Authorities have released the names of two men killed in a one-vehicle crash near Collbran during the holiday weekend.
The crash on Highway 330 just east of Collbran and was discovered early Monday by a nearby resident.
21-Year-old Garrett Swofford of Grand Junction and 21-year-old Marvee Johnson of Aurora were killed when their vehicle veered off the road and collided with some rocks.
The impact vaulted the car into a group of trees then it rolled down a steep embankment.
The men were ejected and pronounced dead at the scene by the Mesa County Coroner's Office.
Investigators still do not know who was driving the car before the crash and speed is believed to have been a factor.
