GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Glacier Ice Arena is setting up a trust fund in hopes of raising money to re-open.
Owners of the Glacier Ice Arena, the Koos Family, are setting the trust fund up at a local bank. The community is encouraged to donate what they can.
"And if we don't reach our goal to save the rink, that money will be returned to the donors, that way we can stay fair with everybody," says Alan Koos.
The ice rink needs $450,000 to repair mechanical problems so it can re-open.
Within the next few days, the Koos Family says the fund should be set up.
