Bebb-Jones files appeal to fight extradition

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - An Englishman accused of murdering his wife in Garfield County more than a decade ago has appealed his extradition order to the United States.

Marcus Bebb–Jones had until Wednesday to file an appeal with British authorities to contest the extradition order that came down earlier this month.

Garfield County District Attorney Martin Beeson says Marcus filed the appeal Wednesday but no date has been set for a future hearing.

Garfield County Sheriff’s Office investigators say he killed his wife Sabrina in 1997. Her skull was found near Douglas Pass in 2004.

The couple owned the Melrose Hotel in Grand Junction.

I knew Marcus well, but couldn't say if he snapped and killed his wife. (I did not know her). I wish him the best, knowing how our legal system is skilled in twisting facts and subverting justice.
