The motorcyclist killed in a weekend crash in Westminster was the son of former Denver Broncos Receiver Vance Johnson. 19 year old Vaughn Edward Johnson was taken to a nearby hospital, but died of his injuries after an SUV collided with his motorcycle.

Authorities say the driver of a Chevy Suburban turned into Johnson's path and hit his bike at about 8:00 Sunday night. Police say Johnson was wearing a helmet. The woman driving the suburban was not hurt. She's identified as 26 year old Melissa Mondragon.

The crash remains under investigation.
