Bond Increased Five Fold For Man Accused In Hit & Run Death Of Friend

Bond for a Clifton man accused in the hit and run death of his friend is increased five fold.

Michael Ocampo is facing numerous charges, including vehicular homicide in the July accident that killed 26-year-old Mario Mondragon.

In court Tuesday morning a Mesa County Judge raised Ocampo’s bond from $25,000 to $150,000.

The victim’s family was also in court, family members tell 11 News they plan to attend every court date until justice is served.

Ocampo will be back in court in November.
