In Mesa County, Grandmother who plead guilty to sexually assaulting her grandchildren was in court today.
She was set to be sentenced but the prosecuting attorney could not make it citing a scheduling conflict. The Clifton woman will face a judge for sentencing next Thursday.
Authorities say the Clifton woman had her own grandchildren, ages three and nine, perform sex acts on her while she broadcast it over the internet.
11 News has chosen not to release the woman's name or show her picture in order to protect the young victims in the case.
As part of a plea deal the woman plead guilty to felony counts of sexual assault and sexual exploitation of a child. She also plead guilty to a misdemeanor child abuse charge.
The two felony counts each carry a sentence of four years to life; the child abuse count carries a sentence of three to 12 months.
