Watch CMU December commencement live
It's a day of pomp and circumstance for hundreds of Colorado Mesa University students.
CMU is hosting their December commencement this morning at 9:30 a.m. It's only the second winter ceremony in CMU's history.
Before last year, students had to wait until May to walk at graduation, but now, qualifying students can choose to participate in either ceremony; 476 students qualified to receive December degrees this year.
CMU expects about 275 to take part in today's commencement.
