GRAND JUNCTION, Colo (KKCO) -- Each year at Christmas time, the Salvation Army provides food and toys to families who are in need.
In the adopt-a-family program, an individual, family or business works with the Salvation Army in taking on a whole family seeking help during the holidays.
"It's just exciting to be able to watch families receive their gifts, and know how much somebody cares, and I think that's a large part of Christmas, is giving and caring about other people," said Captain Terrie Wilson with the Salvation Army.
If you, your family or your business would like to be involved in the adopt-a-family program, please contact Cora Gress at (970) 245-9231.
