GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. When one local business began giving back to members of the military, the owner wasn't expecting anything in return.

However, Allen Unique Autos received an award Friday for supporting local veterans and the Colorado National Guard.

Allen Unique Autos gives veterans and their families tickets to sports games and special events for free.

"Get the families out there along with the veteran because it's the family's as supportive as anybody on this," said Colorado National Guard Sgt. Jefferson Baker. "At these events they have a really good time and they can enjoy themselves just like anybody else would."

Active and non-active duty members receive free admission to Allen Unique Autos.

The museum also donates event space to organizations that benefit veterans like the Wounded Warriors Project.
