UPDATE: Gunman in Colorado murder-suicide released from jail just hours earlier

Update 8:52 p.m.-- LONGMONT, Colo. (AP) -- Police say a man who killed his ex-girlfriend and two of her relatives before fatally shooting himself had been accused of kidnapping the woman and released from jail just hours before the attack.

The Weld County Sheriff's Department says 31-year-old Daniel Sanchez was released from the Boulder County Jail at 10 p.m. Monday.

At about 4 a.m. Tuesday, a 911 dispatcher received a desperate call from a woman who could be heard saying, "no, no, no" before the sound of a gunshot.

Authorities say Sanchez then took phone and told the emergency operator he shot three people. The dispatcher then heard another gunshot.

Killed were Sanchez's ex-girlfriend, 25-year-old Beatriz Cintora-Silva; her sister, 22-year-old Maria Cintora-Silva; and her sister's husband, 32-year-old Max Aguirre Ojeda.

Update 8:47 a.m.--DENVER (AP) -- Four people were found dead Tuesday in Colorado after a woman called police to report a shooting and was apparently shot to death while she was on the phone.

Weld County sheriff's spokesman Tim Schwartz says dispatchers heard the woman who called 911 scream "No, no, no," and then heard a gunshot. Schwartz says a man grabbed the phone and said he was going to kill himself, and dispatchers heard another shot.

The bodies were found in a home in a subdivision east of Longmont, which is about 35 miles north of Denver.

The dead included two men and two women, including one who appeared to be in her late teens or early 20s.

Schwartz says investigators have a possible motive for the shootings, but he refused to release details.

Yes, when there are Judges releasing obviously kidnappers, murderers, and I would guess they felt no need to warn the victims of the original complaint, he is out. With system we have, guns are a better alternative to being a victim. More guns in the hands of the citizens always equate to less crime, and a safer public.

Typical Denver area news. When is the next 25-car pile up, gang shootings or chasing a convict though the zoo? It is not healthy to live in cities, people need to be spread out and have room to live. Now that they are adding walking stoners(dead) that place will be a bigger mess.
