Behind the Christmas lights

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. With Christmas just days away, many residents have gone above and beyond to decorate their homes this season.

As you drive along the road tonight, chances are your way will be lit by thousands of Christmas lights; and for many here in the Grand Valley, the positioning of every single one of those twinkling lights is meticulously planned.

Some are simple, some are colorful, some are more complex and others are just plain entertaining... but they're all captivating.

"It's just to show everybody that we appreciate our country and what Christmas is about," says Grand Junction resident Toby LeBorgne. "[We] like to give thanks to everybody and just show them appreciation."

LeBorgne has more than 4,000 lights shining around his home, wrapped around his trees and even around his bird house.

"Just the enjoyment of driving by and seeing it, [I] love to do it and love to have people look at them."
