GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- Younger bikers will pedal their way to safety this morning.
Fruitvale Elementary students are taking part in a bicycle rodeo this morning as they learn about safe bike-riding and bike-handling skills.
It's all thanks to a $30,000 grant awarded to the City of Grand Junction along with the Grand Valley Bikes group.
The grant will benefit several elementary school students from School District 51, helping them walk and bike to school safely.
