Michael Blagg, the man convicted of murdering his wife Jennifer on the Redlands, will see a judge today for a status hearing in his case. Blagg was granted a re-trail after it was discovered one of the jurors who served on the original case lied on a questionnaire.
Blagg's defense team is now preparing for a re-trial.
Blagg was brought back to the Mesa County detention center over the Labor day weekend for the Thursday morning hearing.
Among the items that could be discussed at the hearing, bond. It's possible Blagg could be released on bond, pending the outcome of the new trial.
KKCO 11 News will be in the courtroom this morning for the hearing, but our cameras will not be allowed inside due to the type of hearing. We'll update details online and on our Facebook and Twitter pages as we get new information.
