GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Birthday parties, church gatherings, and special events are the big-time customers for bounce house rental companies, but the higher number of customers has meant an increase in injuries.

"The business has been increasing every year," said Lori Willmarth, co-owner of Willy Wanna Jump. "I would understand that there would be more injuries. Luckily, we haven't been having them, so hopefully people are being safe out there."

A few safety tips include always having adult supervision, avoiding the mix of big and small kids, not overpacking the bounce house, and avoiding dangerous flips.

All in all, individuals should take the same safety precautions as they would for a trampoline.
