GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – Police give kids a good excuse to get out of the house this winter break.
Thursday, Dec. 27, officers from the Grand Junction Police Department and Mesa County Sheriff’s Office hope to "strike" up relationships with local kids by bowling with them.
During Bowl with a Cop, Orchard Mesa Lanes will open its lanes for any child who wants to join.
The event is a safe, free activity for the family, and no registration is needed. Just show up between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Lunch can be bought at the alley.
