CMU provides Thanksgiving meals

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – Colorado Mesa University and Sodexo will partner with the Salvation Army to provide a Thanksgiving meal for an estimated 3,000 people. This is the 18th consecutive year for the Thanksgiving meal event.

Around 95 turkeys have been donated through the Salvation Army. Sodexo employees and CMU volunteers will begin carving turkeys on Monday, Nov. 19 around 10 a.m.

Sodexo will prepare 94 gallons of gravy and more than 400 pounds of stuffing for the feast.
