CSP responds to two separate rollover accidents

A driver is being cited with multiple charges-- including suspected DUI-- after rolling his SUV in the desert. It happened early this morning around 2 a.m. on C Road and Wilson.

Colorado State Patrol responded to the scene after a driver in a Toyota 4Runner drove up a hill before rolling down multiple times. The driver was the only passenger in the car at the time and was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Authorities believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.

Another driver is in the hospital with serious injuries after rolling his pick-up truck. CSP also responded to the scene. It happened on Reeder Mesa Road around 7:40 a.m. Saturday morning.

A man in his 60's was driving and failed to make a turn, causing the truck to roll and crashing the cab of the truck.

It's unknown whether the driver was able to climb out of the truck or if he was helped, but authorities say he suffered serious bodily injury. He was cited for careless driving.

It really can get a LOT CRAZY out there by the Shooting Range, especially on WEEKENDS! It hasn't been too long ago that the young girl rolled her ATV in the same area. (Most of the incidents that occur out there are unreported, as well as occurs almost every weekend.) I have a real good view of the entire area from my property, and it can really become quite a show, when people THINK they can't be seen.
