GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- A Grand Valley Auto Dealership is using what they know best to raise money for charity.

Ed Bozarth and Mark Miller Chevrolet, Buick hosted their 3rd Annual car show today.

Event organizers say they always try to raise money for charities that do not receive a lot of funding and that is why they chose to benefit the Western Slope Center for Children.

"We serve children who have been abused, whether it's sexually, physically or children who are witnesses to violence so it's been a wonderful opportunity for us to be out here," said Shari Zen of the Western Slope Center for Children.

The auto show was filled with cars, ranging from modern to classic.

"We've had everything out here, we've had from the 20's all the way up to brand new 2013 models, we've had every hot rod and late model car you can imagine," said Seth Rosa General Manager of Ed Bozarth and Mark Miller Chevrolet and Buick in Grand Junction.

The event ran from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Officials say it was the best turn out they have ever had and raised about $1,500 for the charity.
