Cat napping burglar identified

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. A cat napping burglar has been identified as Marcus C. Pena, 20 years old. He was arrested and booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility early Friday morning.

Pena broke into a house and was caught in the act after making himself quite comfortable. The incident happened just before 1:00 am. on Friday. Police were called to a house in the 400 block of North Sherwood Drive on reports of a man breaking in.

Police say they went through the house and found Pena sleeping in a bedroom. The homeowner hid in an upstairs bedroom while waiting for police to arrive.
