GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- City officials are on the hunt for a piece of surveying equipment that was lost Tuesday.

According to City of Grand Junction Communications Manager Sam Rainguet, the Trimble survey controller fell off the back of a city truck, most likely in the area of 12th Street and North Avenue.

Rainguet says the equipment wouldn't be of use to anyone outside of the surveying industry, but the city would like to have it back.

If you have seen it, call 244-1507.
